PH WALL Lamp
PH WALL is a member of the three-shade family which includes 30 lights, with options for indoor and outdoor use. This system was designed by Poul Henningsen in 1925-1926 to offer glare-free light and soft shadows. It's one of about a thousand models of table, floor, wall, and chandelier lamps. The shades, originally metal and now also glass, are designed using a logarithmic spiral for even light distribution and control of glare and shadow. The model numbers correspond to the shade size and can be combined for different lighting preferences. PH Wall was introduced in 1966 with a 45 cm top shade and lower shades from the 3/3 model, offering more options for pendant placement.
Light concept: The fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the light downwards. The shades have a matt white painted inside to ensure diffused, comfortable light distribution.
- Light source 1x100W E27
- Shades and Wall box: Spun copper.
- Arm: Copper. Requires installation by a certified electrician.
- Please note that the copper surfaces are untreated. This means that the surface will change over time and develop a patina.
- Terminal block: 1x3x2.5mm².
- Cable entries: 2x bottom + 2x rear entries for Ø 10-14.5mm cable or 2x rear entries for Ø 10-14.5mm cable.
- Looping: Approved, max. 3x1,5mm².
