TOLDBOD 400 Pendant Lamp
The Toldbod family was created by Louis Poulsen, inspired by the PH Ellipse reflector and Poul Henningsen's street light concept. Starting with the Toldbod 290 outdoor family in 1982, then the Toldbod Glass indoor pendants, and later adding metal pendants and four larger editions in 2019. The Toldbod pendant directs most of its light downwards, in line with PH's belief of shaping light for optimal illumination without causing discomfort to the eyes. Its elliptical shade has a white-painted inside for even lighting, making it suitable for focused lighting and overall ambience. Louis Poulsen designed the Toldbod pendant with simplicity and versatility in mind, making it suitable for both single and grouped installations in various color schemes.
Light concept: The pendant emits soft downwards directed light. The matt, white-painted inside of the elliptical shade helps to assure even distribution of the light.
