Construction and Details
- Tabletops:
- Laminate: Satin smooth laminate; beveled edge
- Marble: Transparent polyester coating with polished or satin finish beveled edge
- Vetro Bianco: 93% fused quartz with polished, nonporous, scratch-resistant surface; beveled edge
- Slate: Natural cleft slate; beveled edge
- Veneer: Cathedral grain veneer over medium density fiberboard; solid wood beveled edge
- Chrome: Steel top with chrome plating; curved edge
- Top attaches to base with threaded rod
- Base is heavy molded cast aluminum with white or black paint
- The KnollStudio logo and signature of Eero Saarinen are stamped into the bottom of the base or underside of the table top (varies by model)
